Net fishing was the source of a significant amount of food at Taylor Camp. The nets were set in the evening and retrieved in the morning. It was often a communal effort with everyone who helped getting a share of the catch.
I love this photo for its shapes. The way both the net and the stream seem to be flowing from beyond the edge of the frame and into the ocean, the triangle composition of the subjects and the dynamic of Moses and Sailor looking in opposite directions. A decisive moment.
